I just picked up this new stereo bluetooth headset for mobile and music. This is the Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth headset. I picked it up at Fry's Electronics for $69.99. The Plantronics retail price is $109.95.
As soon as I bought it, I went out to my car and ripped open the package and tried the most basic of functions - does it connect and will I get stereo bluetooth. IT SURE DID! SOLD!
What other functions work?
- Like I said before, bluetooth stereo (flawless)
- Mobile headset (mono "stereo" and mic works great)
- Voice dial
- Volume Up/Down/Mute
- Previous/Next Song
- Mini USB charging (yeah!)
You ask, why didn't I get the Nokia BH-500 from Amazon? Well, I really don't like "over the ear" type headphones. And I also needed instant gratification.
Enjoy.
Edit:
I just returned this headset. Although the features worked just fine, the audio quality for the phone was horrible (mic and headset).
I won't lie. I almost went out and picked up an iPhone on the way to a 3 July 2007 BBQ at my brothers. I was debating during the 32 mile drive. Every exit was an opportunity to either go to an AT&T or Apple store. I called ahead and figured out which ones had the 8GB version. As the clock struck 8:00 PM, I ruled out the AT&T stores.
I decided. I'm going to get the N95 - I don't care if it costs more (a whole lot more) than the iPhone. At 8:03 PM I google'd "cellular hacienda heights" on my trusty Nokia E62. I found this site and they had it in stock and they were closing at 8:30 PM. William said he'll wait for me.
I had the N95 (sealed) in my hands by 8:27PM. I was in heaven.
The steak and lobster BBQ and my brother's wasn't bad either :-) .
